Warranty Information
*5 year warranty only applies to portable fire extinguishers. This only applies to portable fire extinguishers that have been supplied and installed by Extinguished Fire Protection / Firefly Fire Protection Ltd and have a full service record by Extinguished Fire Protection only (No third party, fire, or other company servicing or interference has taken place) or the warranty shall be void. We will at our discretion and after thorough inspection, repair or at our option, or replace free of charge any extinguisher if it becomes defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within 5 years from the date that the portable fire extinguisher is put into service, provided there is no break in service of greater than 30 days, or serviced or interfered with as mentioned above, and that the extinguisher is serviced from new I.A.W. BS5306: Pt3 and is fully under an Extinguished Fire Protection / Firefly Fire Protection Ltd valid current service contract throughout the entire period of warranty. The warranty does not cover defects caused by accident or malicious operation or damage, neglect or unsuitable environments or environmental conditions and excludes all servicing consumable items such as safety pins, 'O' rings, seals, refills, cartridges, etc.
All other equipment supplied from new and that is not a portable fire extinguisher including Firetrace shall be covered by a 12 month warranty and shall fall within the above warranty terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change any piece of equipment or specification at short notice without prior update and without altering any quality of the products supplied or installed.
These warranty terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
