Room Enclosure
Integrity Proof Testing

To ensure the effectiveness of a Gaseous Fixed Fire Suppression system of any type, they now require Room Enclosure Integrity Proof Testing to be carried out generally on an annual basis.

The Integrity of the risk enclosure is the capacity to hold the extinguishing medium (gas) within the enclosure for a period of time as per BS14520.

Integrity Testing is vital to ensure that your protected area is well sealed and your fire systems gaseous agent won't escape causing at the very least re-ignition of the fire. The worst case senario would be that the enclosure would not hold the extinguishant within the risk area for any period of time meaning that you receive No fire extinguishing system benefit whatsover.

This test is vital for companies that could not survive a fire within their I.T. department or equipment.

Extinguished Fire Protection can offer full Integrity testing as well as certification of enclosures to BS14520 requirements.
Should your enclosure fail its test we can provide a full report on how to rectify the enclosure or supply a quotation for us to rectify the risk area.
